Nike Collaborations: Innovative Metaphors in Mobility Design
​I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate on two groundbreaking projects with Nike and NEWFORMAT.

Nike Alphafly 3 - F1 Car Metaphor
For my second collaboration with Nike, I was tasked with shaping the metaphor of the Nike Alphafly 3 as an F1 car. This project involved a creative journey from ideation to its global debut online and in Paris. It was an exhilarating experience to fuse footwear and mobility design, supporting the global launch of Nike's innovative new shoes.

Nike Mercurial Superfly X - Supersonic Jet Metaphor
As a Mobility Designer, I translated the essence of the new Nike Mercurial Superfly X Elite into the aerodynamic form of a supersonic jet. This project also involved a creative journey from ideation to its global debut online. It was an extraordinary experience to blend footwear and mobility design, supporting the global launch of Nike's cutting-edge new shoes.

Both projects allowed me to explore new dimensions of design, merging the worlds of footwear and high-speed mobility in innovative and visually captivating ways.

The Creative Journey
Ideation
The process starts with the task of creating the metaphor of the two innovative shoes of Nike in the form of an F1 and a Supersonic Jet. Shaping different proposals to share with the client for the final selection. Using Photoshops and 3d software to create the perfect proportion and trims, combining with innovative forms.
Design
Following the initial design phase, I crafted several 3d models to import into the animation set in a way to test the metaphor with the storytelling of the video. Working side by side with the CGI team in the way to generate a seamless integration.
Unveiling
The two videos were displayed by Nike on all Social Media Platforms and websites and during the Global campaign in Paris anticipating the 2024 Olympic Games.
