Senior Exterior Designer
As Senior Exterior Designer at Nio in Munich, I led the team in developing the proportion model in collaboration with the engineering team. Focusing on defining the design and form language of the new Nio, with particular emphasis on integrating lidar technology and shaping the car's profile, all while maintaining a consistent and distinctive visual identity for the brand.

Ideation
As a Senior Exterior Designer,
I led the development process for exterior design, focusing on autonomous driving design configurations with integration of radars, lidars, and sensors.
My assignments included brand identity development, design strategy, and concept creation, along with oversight of design language and theme development for autonomous driving hardware and strategy.
Design
Interfacing with various departments such as C&M, product planning, and engineering, I presented design proposals to management and supervised physical modeling and 3D modeling up to B class surfacing.
I oversaw physical full-scale and digital models, presenting them to directors and VPs, and provided team leadership, leading design workshops, and scouting design schools.
Process
During this period, I led the design process and exterior development for a confidential project involving a future range of passenger vehicles, including the 2D phase and preliminary 3D model. Additionally,
I contributed to the design strategy and language development for the next generation NIO Design DNA, conducting cross-department workshops and developing the design strategy for radars and sensors in the autonomous vehicle department, spanning across NIO's future passenger vehicle range.
